Still having a blast shooting mini-sessions this month.  I've been swamped, but It's been great catching up with old clients and even meeting new ones.  I'm posting some of my favorites from last weekend, it was hard to narrow them down, but here's my best attempt:

Such a cute family (even their dog is adorable), little *A* reminded me so much of my own two little blonde boys...

Baby Boy | Tyler, Texas Newborn Photography

Had the pleasure of shooting a newborn session last weekend at this family's home in Liberty City.  They were a referral via a current client and I was so glad to meet them and their beautiful baby boy.  Baby *G* is such a sweetie with a head full of dark hair!  My little blond boys didn't have this much hair until they were two!  ;)

Baby *G* was awake (though sleepy) when I first got there and we were able to get this:

  

And even though he looks like he is sleeping, he was really awake and we got this (doesn't Mom look stunning?!):

Then, after a wait, he really did go to sleep, and we got this:

Then once he got into a really deep sleep, we got this (I *heart* this shot so very much):

Just a quick post | Tyler, Texas Children's Photographer

Sometimes when your client tells you they'd like a sibling shot, you know going in, it may never come to pass!  I know from personal experience with my own two boys how hard it can be.  But, I was thrilled to get the following shot last week at the studio:

Senior Session | Tyler, Texas Senior Photography

Senior sessions are so much fun -- they are always game for my ideas and most seem to enjoy being in front of the camera.  Had a great senior session last week, this senior was in town visiting from Canada.  So glad we could get a session in before she had to head back up north.  :)

Mini Session Mania | Tyler, Texas Children's Photography

I am knee deep in mini-sessions, but I have to admit, I'm having a fab time.  And, if you haven't noticed, I am on a blogging roll.  Can I get a what-what?!  I'm determined to keep this pace up, honestly, it's a blast showing off my clients and I hate that I am not more diligent about it.

I had not seen this little cutie since he was just one week old, he came in for a one year session.  It just seems like a couple of months ago, I arrived at their home and met this sweet family for the first time.

*D* is oh-so-cute and even though he wasn't feeling 110%, he had a great time and we were able to get some fun expressions.  Even better, we were able to get some shots of him with his lovely Mommy.  Check them out:

Outstanding in their field | Kilgore, Texas Family Photography

This is such a pretty family, I have had the privilege of photographing them before.  Not only are they a good looking group, they are also so sweet and fun.  You may recognize their oldest daughter "E", she is the cutie featured on the entrance page to my website.  She's the one looking wistful and sweet as sugar in one shot, then making a silly/scary face in the next frame.  I can always count on her for loads of expression! 

This session was shot outside of Kilgore, in a lovely field.  I had wonderful light and the colors the family wore were just perfect.  The Adirondack chair was just the right color and perfect for an August shoot.

On the home front | Tyler, Texas Family Photography

I love shooting at client's homes.  It's like walking into a new studio each and every time.  You find different "sets".  A couch, a four poster bed that gets great window light, a great pattern or print hanging on the wall that you want to incorporate.  But, best of all, it allows you to get a glimpse of what that family is all about - their life, their style, who they are.  And you try to document it accordingly.  It's challenging and fun, every house and family are so different.  And if you are a corn-ball photographer (like myself, ha!) it's like Christmas every time you show up to a session  :)

So, on that note, here are some images from a home session Sunday evening.  Mom is stylish and chic, dad is funny and likes photography that is outside of the box (magic phrase).  And the girls, well, they are full of giggles and movement (proof below, you'll see).

Pillow Fun | Tyler, Texas Children's Photography

Had a great session on Saturday night at the studio.  It was loads of fun keeping up with a mischievous little boy and one year old twins.  I have photographed this bunch several times, always happy to see them and watch them as they grow.  We had planned on shooting outside the studio as well, but Mother Nature had other plans.  Wow, did we get some rain that night!  Anyway, we made the best of the studio - particularly the white couch and menagerie of colorful pillows I have.

And lastly, big brother "A" -- his smile makes me smile  :)

Lots of other sessions to blog, I've been having the best shoots at some great places.  I just love my clients, they rock!

Canine Casting Call | Tyler, Texas Pet Photography

I'm looking for a few "models" for a special project I am working on.  Models will receive a free session and their owners will be asked to sign a photo release.  This particular project requires a small breed of dog (15-20 pounds and under please), but it does *not* have to be a purebred. 

I would gladly use one of my own three dogs, but they are all over 50 pounds -- way over my size limit!  So, if you are interested, please shoot me an email via my website, www.clarityphotography.net
